These alarming statistics affects all communities. Since the advances of medical technology, health care has become more specialized and sub specialized. However, who does one see to help diagnose and treat a suspected head injury? A Family Doctor??..A Neurologist??…A Psychologist?….A Radiologist?….What about a Neuropsychologist?…..So many to choose from, but which one would be most helpful?…..The answer is, they all offer an important piece to the puzzle. For example, Steven (a fictitious name of a patient) was 21-years-old, when he became involved in a motorcycle accident on Christmas day. An intoxicated truck driver collided with his motorcycle while making a left turn on a green light. Steven was ejected from the seat of his motorcycle and subsequently landed in the middle of the street. While he had no memory of the accident, eyewitness notified paramedics who took him to a nearby hospital. After 5 hours of being in a coma, he regained consciousness. While he did not sustain any major physical injuries, his family noticed a drastic change in his behavior and thinking. He lost his ability to read words, experienced difficulty with attention, concentration, memory, and behavior (i.e., short-temper, aggression, irritable, impulsive). According to his mother, his son had changed since the accident. She was desperate to find someone who could help him. Therefore, his mother took Steven to his family doctor who ordered some brain imaging diagnostic tests (CT and MRI scans) and referred him to a long list of specialists (e.g., neurologist, psychiatrist, and neuropsychologist) to clarify his condition. His mother wondered, about all these doctors?.What did they do? How would they be able to help Steven?
The EURO
12 member countries of the European Union adopted the Euro in 1999. (Denmark, Sweden and UK are using their own currency only). Investors used to invest domestically mainly, but with the Euro introduction more investors are now attracted to euro areas. Euro is a floating exchange rate, therefore market demand and supply controls the value of the currency. As a result the market value of the Euro is the reflection of its real value.
There was the fall of the euro against the US dollar from itsintroduction to the end of 2001, obviously it?s not just the euro thathas fallen in value so has the British pound and the Japanese yen, allof which have similar patterns, decreasing value through to June andthen picking up from July onwards. With the euro falling to as low asit did you could argue that maybe this was a good thing, Europeanexports would become more competitive in world markets because of thelower exchange rate and for some companies it was probably beneficialbut generally it was not.

I have been investing and advising real estate investors in Eastern Europe for the better part of a decade. A growing number of investors with a pioneering spirit have been lured to this part of the world, in search of hot investment opportunities that can yield profits that are uncommon in North America and Western Europe.

Anyone looking to invest in Eastern Europe would be well advised to understand the unique factors that motivate the market in this region. Many of the distinguishing factors of Eastern European real estate are actually distinguishing factors of European real estate while others are purely regional in nature.
Europe's Economy: The Challenges of High Unemployment and Sluggish Economic Growth
Millions of European citizens find themselves in a fantasyland of “wanting to keep things the way they were” even as the fundamentals of the European style of government continue to crumble. Europe simply cannot have things the way they were.
Nevertheless, millions of residents of “Old Europe,” in particular France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, refuse to accept the reality of enhanced global competition and unaffordable government-sponsored social programs. Their anxieties are many, including a substantial outsourcing of jobs, persistently high unemployment, a weak educational system, an aging society, a declining overall population, and new global competitors, especially China, India, and numerous Eastern European countries.
